“I couldn’t have been so successful without your help. The interview coaching was incredible! I went from getting very few job offers before [your coaching], to a job offer from every interview.” – S. D., LMHC

“Your training and real world, practical [networking] advice was invaluable, as well as entertaining! Thank you so much.”
– Job seekers support group leader

Services may be purchased individually, as desired, or in a package plan which saves some money overall.

► If purchased individually, career transition services fees are:

Career transition coaching by phone -
Topics and goals are “client-driven”, but may include networking, salary negotiations, determining a career field or job choice, researching job openings, dealing with executive recruiters and placement firms, internet applications and search, conducting informational interviews, developing your “elevator” speech, self confidence, motivation, communication skills, etc.
$100 per 45 minute call (A significantly reduced rate is available in prepaid blocks of time, as described below)

Achievements and value-focused résumé, geared toward a specific job and career goal -
Résumés are of the highest quality and personalized to your experience and career goals. A well crafted résumé is the key (unless you’re the CEO’s nephew) to getting an interview. It is essential that a résumé be individually tailored to the specific job criteria. A generic, “fits all” résumé, even one that is beautifully written, simply will not work for a competitive position. Experience definitely counts in this area – you want a professional résumé writer who has been on both sides of the table, so to speak (as a hiring authority), not just a talented typist.
Two pages - Executive, senior management and military transition - $395 (CEO level, $100K positions and up: $625)

“This [résumé] is a wonderful document – thank you. I am most pleased!”
– K. W., MBA, manager

Cover letter -
Often overlooked and under-utilized, it has often been said that it is the cover letter that gets the hiring authority interested enough to really read you résumé. Down play its significance at your peril. Jobs are often lost or obtained as a direct result of what the cover letter does, or does not say.
An individualized, position specific cover letter - $125 (if combined with a résumé I write)

Interview skills training -
My interview training techniques were the subject of a 2004 Times-Union newspaper feature article. It is perhaps the most cost effective training I do by far, and has immediate measurable results in terms of increased job offers and salary. There is significant preparation on my part prior to the mock interview, and there is a constructive, confidence-building critique and coaching following the mock interview. It is recommended that the mock interview and associated coaching be conducted at least a few days prior to your first anticipated interview. (Please reserve a time block early for this popular service.)
(Approximately 2 and ½ hours in person, or approximately 3 sequential 45 minute phone sessions, including critique and training. May be conducted by webcam, if desired/available) - $395

Package plans:

A significant savings can be realized by making use of a career transition package plan. It is the most popular and is also beneficial in that it is comprehensive (covers all the potential topics and problem areas – nothing slips under the radar)… and allows for ease of scheduling and, perhaps most importantly - continuity.

The career transition package plan includes all of the services listed above – the executive résumé, cover letter, mock interview and 7 coaching sessions on topics of your choice… all for $1,500. This is a savings of $200 over a la carte purchases, plus it has the significant advantages discussed above.

(Coaching session packages of 7, 45 minute phone sessions may be purchased prepaid for $650. The interview skills training session(s) is a separate entity due to its nature and the preparation involved.)

Visa, MasterCard via a secure Paypaltransaction

The package plan may be prepaid in two equal installments (the initial payment prior to beginning and the latter half at the approximate halfway point), by check or credit card payable to Currie Coaching.

“Thanks to your thorough [coaching], the whole [career transition] process was almost fun. The confidence I had was due to your insightful advice.”
- R. K., Captain, USN (Ret.)

Your satisfaction is very important to me. A significant portion of my business comes by way of satisfied previous customers. As a professional, I will do whatever it takes to meet your career transition coaching needs, or you have the option to ask for, and receive, the pro rated portion of your unused payment. Every client should receive value in many multiples of (thousands of dollars beyond) the fees charged - in terms of more job offers, unrealized opportunities captured, higher salaries, reduced anxiety and stress, and greater piece of mind regarding the entire career transition process. I look forward to helping you!
